We wish to acknowledge that the RavenWood Music Festival is held on Treaty 6 Territory, the land on which we gather to enjoy music and good company. This traditional meeting ground is home for many Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Metis and Nakota Sioux. We thank the diverse peoples whose footsteps and traditions have marked this territory for centuries. Their spiritual and practical relationships to the land have created and continue to provide a rich heritage for our learning and our life as a community. With honor and respect,we take great care of this land before, during and after our Festival.
